The Gift Limit Changed In March. Most Vendors Have Not Noticed.

FINRA raised its gift limit from $100 to $300 per person per year, effective March 30, 2026 — the first change since 1992. For thirty-four years the cap made a real client gift almost impossible. It does not anymore, and a great many gifting vendors are still writing their pages as though nothing happened.

Built For A Regulated Buyer

Onboard with Impact

Built To Your Threshold

Tell us the per-person limit your policy sets and we build to it. Not near it, not over it. To it.

Celebrate Milestones

Itemized Per Recipient

Firms have to aggregate everything given to one person across the year. Your invoice shows per-recipient value so that tracking is somebody's five minutes, not their afternoon.

Build Loyalty

Never A Cash Equivalent

Gift cards are cash equivalents and they are prohibited under nearly every policy in this industry. Everything we make is a physical gift.

Because a gift that creates a compliance problem is not a gift.

What $300 Actually Buys Now

Under the old cap a compliant gift meant a coffee mug and an apology. At the new threshold you are into real Texas gift boxes — the kind a client keeps on the counter and mentions to somebody.

  • Hand-built boxes, baskets, totes and crates
  • Texas makers, not catalog filler
  • Priced to land under your policy, whatever it is

One Office Or Four Hundred Clients

A community bank gifting its board is a different order than a wealth practice sending to every household at year end. We do both, and the logistics of the second one is most of what you are hiring us for.

  • Tracking on every package, free US mainland shipping
  • Recipient list in, finished gifts out

“Texas Gift Baskets was incredible! We used them for corporate gifting at an event, and the process was seamless from start to finish. Communication was professional, the crates were beautifully presented, and our guests were impressed. They went above and beyond we’d gladly work with them again. Five stars!”

Finance & Banking Gifting FAQs

What is the FINRA gift limit now?

$300 per person per year, up from $100, effective March 30, 2026. It is the first increase since 1992. Your own firm may set a lower internal threshold — many do — so tell us your number rather than the regulatory one and we will build to yours.

Can you help us track gifts against the cap?

Yes. Firms are expected to aggregate everything given to a particular recipient over the year, which is the part that actually creates work. Our invoices itemize per-recipient value so your compliance file is a document rather than a reconstruction.

Do you sell gift cards?

Not for this. Gift cards are cash equivalents, and cash equivalents are prohibited under essentially every policy in financial services. Everything we build is a physical gift, which sidesteps the issue entirely.

Are any gifts excluded from the cap?

Some categories are treated differently, including personal gifts, bereavement gifts, de minimis items, promotional goods and commemorative items. The boundaries are for your compliance team to draw, not us — but we can build to whichever category you are working in and describe it accurately on the invoice.

What about gifts to our own employees?

Different question, and much simpler. Employee recognition is not a client gift and the gift rule does not govern it. The one thing worth knowing is that gift cards are taxable wages your payroll team has to process, while a physical gift of low value is generally treated as de minimis. Confirm with your finance office.

Can you ship to hundreds of client addresses?

Yes, and it is the part most firms are actually hiring us for. Send the list; we pack, label, and ship each one individually with tracking, free to the US mainland. Year-end household mailings are a normal order here.

How far ahead should we order for year end?

Earlier than you think. December is our heaviest month by a wide margin and the production calendar fills. Most orders of thirty or fewer still turn in a day or two, but a several-hundred-recipient year-end run wants weeks, not days.

Can you add our logo?

Yes. Logo on the message card is free, and we do custom-printed ribbon, logoed box wrap, sticker labeling, branded bows and in-house laser engraving. For client gifts we usually recommend restraint — a mark on the card and the ribbon reads better than a logo on everything.

Can you process tax-exempt orders and provide a W-9?

Yes to both, with the correct documentation on file. We can provide a W-9 for vendor onboarding and accept company checks alongside major credit cards.

Are you giving us compliance advice?

No. We are a gift company that has read the rules our customers work under, which is more than most gift companies do, but your compliance officer owns the decision. We will build to whatever number and category you give us and document it clearly.
